About $50,000 in damage after a fire at Jacob Beam Public School
Some significant damage after a fire at a playground in Beamsville.
Around 10:15 yesterday morning, crews responded to a fire in the playground area of Jacob Beam Public School.
Police believe the fire started around 10:00 a.m.
Damage is pegged at over $50,000.
Police say the cause of the fire hasn't been determined, and there are no suspects at this time.
They also want to speak with two potential witnesses who were seen in the area around the time.
Nearby residents are also asked to check any security footage they have.
