Five of Niagara's municipalities will explore joint purchasing and shared services.
The mayors of Welland, Thorold, Pelham, Port Colborne and Wainfleet have all signed a Memorandum of Understanding.
This means they will take advantage of bulk pricing opportunities, to save some money.
They will also explore joint Requests for Proposals for a variety of contracts; ranging from road construction to office supplies.
