UPDATE: A video of a man with a stack of cash is now part of a bank robbery investigation in Fort Erie.
The video was posted on YouTube on Friday.
The NRP told the Niagara Falls Review, that it has been submitted into evidence following a robbery at the CIBC.
A 51-year-old man has been charged and police have not confirmed it’s the same man in the video.
Charges have been laid after someone robbed a bank in Fort Erie.
Niagara Regional Police say a man entered the CIBC on Niagara Boulevard Friday afternoon and demanded money from the teller.
No weapon was observed and the man got away before the police arrived on scene.
Officers were able to identify their suspect shortly afterwards.
He was arrested close by and he was carrying the stolen cash.
A 51-year-old man from Fort Erie has been charged with robbery.
