Suspect facing harassment, mischief and arson charges.
A Fort Erie man is facing mischief and arson charges.
Officers say the investigation began last month, after police received numerous arson and mischief complaints occurring on the west side of Fort Erie.
The suspect is accused of setting 8 mailboxes and a hay barn on fire.
The barn fire occurred on June 15th near Ridgemount and Bertie Road, causing about $50,000 worth of damage.
The barn contained only hay, and no one was injured.
Police also say the suspect is accused of leaving offensive messages in five mailboxes.
Facing harassment, mischief and arson charges is 25 year old Chandler Ladd of Fort Erie.
