The Town of Fort Erie will reopen its parks and outdoor sports fields this week.
You'll be able to kick a ball around, play catch or fly a kite but only with members of your immediate household.
You will also be able to bring a chair or blanket to relax, but you must stay at least two metres apart from others.
The province's ban on public gatherings of more than five people remains in effect.
Town staff will return the picnic tables to the green areas and remove the yellow caution tape from park benches.
They will also post signs to highlight the importance of physical distancing and good personal hygiene.
The following areas will remain closed for the time being;
- Playgrounds, structures and equipment
- Spray pads
- Public swimming pools
- Public washrooms
