The City of St. Catharines has launched a new pilot project, offering free menstrual products at two local rec centres.
Free pads and tampons will be available at the Seymour-Hannah Sports and Entertainment Centre and the St. Catharines Kiwanis Aquatics Centre over the next six months.
Coin-free dispensers have been installed in the bathrooms and change rooms.
City Council approved the pilot project back in September.
