Funding Provided to Keep Seniors Active

The provincial government handing money to Niagara West organizations for active seniors and connection

Provincial government providing over $108,000 to help seniors stay active and connected in Niagara West.

It's part of $7-million province-wide for seniors, supporting over 320 community projects.

Pelham, Grimsby, and West Lincoln receving money, also the Volunteer Well, and the KACB Worldwide Alliance Canada.

The Seniors Community Grant program is to increase independence, reduce social isolation and create positive connections.

Pelham Mayor Marvin Junkin adds programs like the Rise and Shine Breakfast at the Meridian Centre in Fonthill help.
