Retired General Rick Hillier will leave the job at the end of the month
The Premier making the announcement today saying Hillier will leave the job as planned.
Doug Ford says he tried to convince him to stay.
But Hillier told him, " I did the job I came for and we got everything set up."
The move comes just as the province begins the second phase of its vaccine plan with nine million people still waiting to receive their first shot.
