We have a name for the new Niagara College greenhouse cat; Scout.
The college held a contest two weeks ago, asking members of the public to submit their name suggestions for the orange cat.
It received more than 1,800 submissions.
President Dan Patterson says the name Scout is a great choice, because he is going to scout out mice and new students in the greenhouse.
The college adopted the homeless male cat with orange fur earlier this year.
Basil, the former greenhouse cat, passed away last July.
He lived in the greenhouse for 15 years.
