Hall of Famer wrapping up 51 year career
Buffalo Sabres announcer Rick Jeanneret is retiring after the upcoming hockey season ends.
In a Tweet, the team announced this morning that the Hall of Famer will serve as the play-by-play announcer for one final season.
Jeanneret says he's looking forward to seeing fans at the rink to cheer on the team.

The Sabres will kick off the upcoming NHL season October 14th at the KeyBank Center against the Montreal Canadiens.
