Customers to get 25% off purchases if they bring in a non-perishable food item between September 26th and October 6th.
You'll soon have a chance to save some cash and help a good cause.
From September 26th until October 6th, Niagara's Habitat for Humanity ReStores are offering a 25 percent coupon to customer who bring in a non-perishable food item.
The food drive will benefit The Hope Centre, the Grimsby Benevolent Fund and Community Care St. Catharines.
Items most needed include hygiene products, juice, granola bars, peanut butter and spaghetti sauce.
Officials say as the cost for basic needs continues to rise, local food banks are facing a surge in demand.
"The significant increase in demand is putting a strain on our inventory," said Betty-Lou Souter, CEO of Community Care. "We need the community now more than ever to give us the ability to keep tummies full. Every donation makes a difference and - restores - hope to those in need."
