Lots of Rain Heading Towards Niagara

You might want to stay indoors today.

Environment Canada has issued a special weather statement for the Niagara Region.

It says we could be in for 20 to 40 milimetres of rain by this evening.

The system is moving north from Ohio and it should cross Lake Erie and western sections of Lake Ontario.

It’s the remnants of tropical depression Bertha, and it is weakening as it heads north.

Heavy rain could impair your visibility while driving and it could make the roads slippery.
