Police say it happened at Welland gas station
A 30-year old Port Colborne man is facing charges after police were called concerning a man with a weapon at a gas station.
Officers were called last night to the Niagara Street and Thorold Road area of Welland.
When they arrived, they found a man matching a description of the suspect, arrested him, and found a black BB gun, brass knuckles and a butterfly knife.
Coty Ducheno faces:
- Possession of a weapon
- Fail to comply with release order (3 Counts)
- Fail to comply with probation order
- Unauthorized possession of a prohibited or restricted weapon (2 Counts)
He remains in police custody, with a bail hearing in St. Catharines today.
