No one was hurt after a house went up in flames in Welland.
Crews were called to the blaze on Afton Ave, close to Lincoln Street East, at around 9:20 a.m yesterday morning.
Police say there was an argument between the resident and another person, and they believe the other person started the fire.
A 30-year-old Welland man has been charged with arson with disregard for human life.
There is no word on a damage estimate at this time.
