The scene is being held as police sort out what happened
One man is dead and another is in police custody after a shooting in Port Colborne.
Police were called at around 6:30 tonight to a Fares Street house, north of Rodney Street, to find a man had been shot.
He was rushed to hospital, where he sadly died of the injury.
Police arrested a 30-year old man from Port Colborne at the scene, the homicide unit taking over.
Police are looking into what happened between the two men, and believe this was an isolated event, so there's no threat to public safety.
The identity of the victim is not being released for now, until next of kin have been notified.
Police haven't said who the suspect is yet, as they look into what charge, or charges, may be laid.
