Health Minister Jean-Yves DuClos says emergency imports and domestic production have ramped up this month.
Canada is about to get another shipment of children's pain medication.
The federal government says about half a million units of children's medication will arrive over the next three weeks.
Health Minister Jean Yves DuClos also notes a separate shipment is on the way from Australia, and will go to hospitals.
This comes as rising flu and RSV cases continue to overwhelm pediatric hospitals.
Earlier this week, about a million bottles arrived through foreign imports, while another million units have been produced within the country.
