This was at Vineland scale just off the QEW
Another truck inspection by various police forces and the MTO at the Vineland scale on the QEW taking trucks off the road, and charges laid.
Police say they did this one last Wednesday, again in response to people living in Lincoln and West Lincoln about trucks using their neighbourhood to by-pass the scale.
Of the 48 trucks inspected, 26, or 54%, were taken off the road for significant safety concerns.
Police haven't told us what those problems were.
They do tell us 38 charges were laid, and 4 sets of licence plates taken.
