Leader Marit Stiles was in Grimsby this morning, saying she would open GO station
More pressure from Ontario's NDP for the provincial government to increase GO train service in Niagara.
This morning leader Marit Stiles stopped in Grimsby, where she pledged as Premier she would open the Grimsby GO station.
She says Niagara is one of the fastest growing regions in the province, but after 7-years of Doug Ford, transit infrastructure is not keeping up.
She adds there's no clear timeline for finishing the Grimsby GO station.
Yesterday, Niagara Falls MPP Wayne Gates again called on the Ford government to get all-day, two-way service to Niagara Falls.
He points to Metrolinx's own data, showing over 630,000 people used Niagara Falls GO station last year.
