A Niagara College alum is about to compete on Top Chef Canada!
Vaishnav Mayekar, who graduated from the college's Culinary Management Co-op program in 2014, has been selected to compete in the 10th season of the show.
He'll compete with 11 other chefs from across the country for the coveted title of Canada's Top Chef.
If he wins, he'll get $110,000, a luxury Lexus NX, a brand new kitchen and a farm-to-table adventure.
Mayekar says he has followed the show since its first season, and he's excited to be a part of it.
The tenth season of the show will kickoff on September 26th on Food Network Canada, and can be streamed through STACKTV.
