Education workers within Niagara's school boards are putting their heads together to discuss plans for this September.
Tomorrow, education support staff from local school boards will meet with leaders from the Canadian Union of Public Employees (CUPE), which represents about 3,000 staff members in the region.
This will be the first of three sessions that will bring together staff within the District School Board of Niagara, Niagara Catholic District School Board, and Conseil scolaire catholique MonAvenir.
Staff, including teacher assistants, librarians, secretaries and more, will share their experiences of working during the pandemic to help put together a plan for the upcoming school year.
Employees will be working together to develop a plan that is mindful of students well-being and educational needs.
