Woman in her 70s killed after being hit by a pickup truck in Chippawa.
An arrest has been made following a deadly hit and run in Niagara Falls.
Around 10 PM on July 2nd, a woman in her 70s was hit by a pickup truck at the intersection of Welland Street and Willoughby Drive.
She was pronounced dead at hospital.
Niagara Regional Police say the suspect turned himself in earlier today.
Chris Spagnol of Niagara Falls has been charged with careless driving causing death and failing to report an accident.
