John Celentino's family had a hard time believing, he says he'll take care of them
A big lottery win in Niagara Falls.... $1-million.
The Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation says John Celentino, retired from law enforcement, thought at first he'd won $1,000, after playing the December 19th Maxmillions draw.
The first person he shared the news with was his wife, who was waiting for him in the car, as he checked the numbers in the store.
She, along with his sister, and daughter, all couldn't believe it.
The OLG says he looks forward to taking care of his family with the money, and doing some home renovations.
The winning ticket was bought at Happy Convenience on St. Clair Avenue in Niagara Falls.
