A Social Media Neutral Zone is in the works at Niagara Falls City Hall.
Mayor Jim Diodati posted a video on his Twitter page last night to call out some of the hurtful and harmful behaviour he's seen over the past few months.
He says he has been called a number of horrible things over social media including an idiot, corrupt, a laughing stock and a complete joke.
Diodati says its okay to disagree but its not okay to be disrespectful.
He adds this new social media neutral zone will have simple rules and it will provide a safe space for everyone.
More details will be released in the near future.
