Niagara Falls Mayor Jim Diodati is among a group of border mayors asking the federal government to get rid of the ArriveCAN app.
Diodati telling reporters that confusion and uncertainty surrounding the app is discouraging Americans from crossing the border.
The app was introduced during the pandemic to allow travelers to report their trips and vaccination status.
Yesterday, the federal government announced it's easing several travel restrictions enacted during the pandemic.
However, anyone coming to Canada is still required to submit their travel and COVID-19 related details before arrival.
