The buses will keep running in Niagara Falls, but not as often.
Niagara Falls Transit will remove all PEAK service starting tomorrow.
The buses will run hourly from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on weekdays starting next week.
WEGO will provide it's winter level service.
This means the Red Line will run from 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. and the Blue Line will be operational from 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.
Chair-a-Van will provide transportation to registered clients, but only for essential trips. This may include medical appointments or essential shopping.
The City says Niagara Falls Transit is considered an essential service.
It says the following services will be also be maintained during the COVID-19 pandemic;

- Burials
- Water & Sewer Emergency repairs
- Water Meter Sales to support building occupancy
- Road Condition Inspection
- Major Road, Pothole and Trench repairs
- Winter Maintenance
- Forestry Emergencies
- Fleet Emergency and Essential Services Support
- Limited Building Permit Inspections
- Capital Project Continuance
