New Niagara Health employees will need to get vaccinated against COVID-19.
Niagara Health says effective September 7th, all new hires will need to have both COVID-19 shots.
This comes after the province announced hospitals in Ontario would be required to come up with vaccination policies.
Niagara Health says all current staff, physicians, contractors, students and volunteers will need to either show proof of vaccination or proof of a medical reason for not having both shots.
Individuals who aren't fully vaccinated will need to undergo regular testing.
