Niagara Health Foundation receives $2 million gift, which will be put towards the new South Niagara Site.
The Niagara Health Foundation has received more funds towards the new South Niagara Site of Niagara Health.
A $2 million donation has been received from the Rankin family.
Over the past several years, the family has raised millions for the Foundation through fundraisers such as the Rankin Cancer Run.
"Beth and I along with our daughter, Wendy, and son, Brian, are pleased to make this donation on behalf of Rankin Construction and the Rankin family. We are lucky to be able to give back to our community and we look forward to the new state-of-the-art hospital coming to Niagara," said Tom Rankin.
Last year, the Niagara Health Foundation Launched the It's Our Future Campaign to raise funds for the new site.
To date, over $21 million has been raised.
