Niagara Health's Board of Directors is parting ways with its vacationing CEO.
In a release Niagara Health announcing it is ending its contractual agreement with St. Joseph's Health System which led them to share a joint CEO.
The release says the original agreement signed six years ago also included joint programs and services.
The Board announcing that Lynn Guerriero, current President of Niagara Health, will become President and Interim CEO.
The former CEO Dr. Tom Stewart came under fire earlier this week over media reports he had vacationed in the Dominic Republic over the holidays despite recommendations by health officials not to travel during the pandemic.
