Niagara Health has released a statement in response to a video of a man being dumped from a wheelchair.
The video is blowing up on social media and it was filmed outside the St. Catharines hospital.
Niagara Health has issued an apology on it's Twitter page.
"We were disappointed by what we saw in this video and would like to express our sincere apologies to the individual involved and to the community."
The security officers in the video are employed by a third party company and Niagara Health officials have reached out to this company for an investigation.
"We hold our service providers accountable to our core values at Niagara Health. We are satisfied that Paladin has investigated and managed this situation appropriately, and that they are taking swift action to address this incident."
