Niagara Health is working with local family doctors to vaccinate residents 80 years of age and older against COVID-19.
Individuals are being contacted directly to book appointments with the hospital's clinic at the Seymour Hannah Sports and Entertainment Centre in St. Catharines.
Beginning on Monday, Niagara residents 80 and older will be able to book appointments using the province's booking system.
Eligible applicants will be able to book appointments online and on the phone.
At the moment, Niagara Health will continue providing doses to targeted groups at the arena clinic or in the hospital.
This currently includes frontline healthcare workers, complex care patients in hospital, as well as those supported by Home and Community Care providers, and currently or recently admitted Niagara Health and Hotel Dieu Shaver patients 80 and older.
