Niagara joins 13 other Canadian municipalities to attract foreign investors and businesses.
Niagara has joined a group of Canadian regions teaming up to attract top companies and talent across the globe.
Last week, the Consider Canada Alliance accepted Niagara as the 14th municipality to join the group.
Niagara will work with other leading regions, including Hamilton, Vancouver, Toronto, Calgary, Edmonton and Winnipeg to encourage international businesses to invest in Canada.
"The Niagara Region is honoured to be named as an official partner of the Consider Canada City Alliance (CCCA)," says Niagara Region Chair Jim Bradley. "In association with the CCCA, our region will be able to showcase its unique assets on an international scale, leveraging the collective strength of some of the best municipalities Canada has to offer."
The partnership will also allow Niagara Economic Development to advocate for investment opportunities for all 12 municipalities in the region.
