There will be no Christmas Parade in Niagara-on-the-Lake this year.
The organizing committee has decided to cancel it due to the pandemic and consider alternative options instead.
No further details have been released.
Lord Mayor Betty Disero says she's going to miss the parade this year, but she's excited to see what the committee and town staff come up with to take it's place.
Acting Director of Operations Kevin Turcotte says they want to make this Christmas season extra special while still putting the health and safety of the community first.
