A Niagara Police Services Board Member has been appointed to the provincial body board of directors.
Wainfleet Mayor and Regional Councillor Kevin Gibson has been appointed as a director to the Ontario Association of Police Services Board.
Niagara's Police Board Chair Bill Steele saying "member Gibson’s leadership and knowledge will help the OAPSB navigate some complex issues related to new legislation and regulations, police governance, and strategic planning."
The OAPSB is the leading advocacy voice for citizen governance of policing in Ontario, and provides members services including training, events and communications.
