Public health officials say region has seen 11 workplace outbreaks so far this month.
Niagara Region Public Health is urging employers to use rapid testing and health screening in order to prevent COVID-19 from entering workplaces.
So far this month, there have been 11 workplace outbreaks in Niagara, in large part due to the Delta variant.
The Greater Niagara Chamber of Commerce has teamed up with the province to distribute free rapid testing kits to Niagara businesses.
While rapid tests will identify about 50 percent of infected individuals, they can add a layer of protection by spotting people who are asymptomatic.
