Niagara is still seeing a downward trend in the number of active cases even though we have seven new cases of the virus today.
Public Health says we currently have 85 active cases in the Region.
We had over 100 active cases earlier this week.
Most of our active cases are currently in Thorold followed by Niagara-on-the-Lake, Niagara Falls and St. Catharines.
Wainfleet is still the only municipality in the Region without any cases of the virus.
The province is reporting 783 new cases today including 239 in Toronto, 136 in Peel and 127 in York Region.
Health Minister Christine Elliott says another 779 people have also recovered from the virus.
