The SIU has wrapped up its investigation into a fatal motorcycle crash in Welland.
It says an NRP officer spotted motorcycle speeding past Seaway Mall on August 16th of last year, so they turned on their lights and made a U-turn to go after it.
The officer gave up on the chase after shortly after turning around and the bike collided with another vehicle at the Woodlawn Road and River Road intersection.
The 25-year-old man riding the motorcycle died at the scene.
