The SIU will not be charging the NRP after a man was seriously hurt during an arrest in Welland.
The 51-year-old allegedly tried to break into his ex-girlfriends house on Summit Ave back in June but he ran away once officers arrived on scene.
He was later found at a home on Raymond Street, which was under renovations at the time.
A fight broke out and the man was injured while officers tried to take him into custody.
