It looks like Niagara's local newspapers will be getting a new owner.
NordStar Capital is planning to buy Torstar for $52 million and it’s planning to take the news media company private.
Torstar owns several newspapers including the St. Catharines Standard, the Niagara Falls Review and the Welland Tribune.
It also owns the Hamilton Spectator and the Toronto Star.
