Police understand community concern to find who is responsible
Niagara Regional police are reassuring the public they are actively working to find out who is responsible for a murder in Smithville.
They were called April 26th to a home in the Lindan Street and Alma Drive area, where they found the body of a 62-year old woman inside.
Police say they are still talking to everyone in the community, but at this time no arrests have been made.
Police also believe this was not a random act of violence.
NRP add they understand and share the community's concern, as they work to find who did this while ensuring the integrity of the investigation is not compromised.
