The investigation started last year
A Toronto man has been caught by Niagara Regional police, accused of luring children over the internet for sexual purposes.
They started looking into this certain case last March, and this month they joined forces with Peel police to investigate the same person.
Yesterday, the NRP arrested 50-year old Joseph Michael Mortillaro, charged with:
- Luring a Child via Telecommunication to Facilitate Sexual Interference (2 Counts)
- Harassing Communications
He remains in custody, with a bail hearing today.
Police believe he used online names DadofTwo and Mike to commit these crimes.
