Officers say five vehicles stolen from driveways in the last 24 hours.
Niagara Regional Police are investigating numerous thefts of Toyota Highlanders.
Officers say over the past 24 hours, five vehicles were stolen from residential driveways.
Four of the SUVs were taken in Welland, and one in Pelham.
In some cases, the vehicles were left locked, and the keys/fob were inside the home.
Anyone with information about these incidents is asked to contact 3 District detectives at 905-688-4111, option 3, extension 1009221.
Officers say anyone who owns a Toyota vehicle should consider turning off keyless entry, and put on a steering wheel lock.
Police also suggest Highlander owners consider motion lighting and a personalized GPS tracker for their vehicle.
