Police maintaining frequent updates
Update: Wednesday afternoon
Police providing further updates as they search for a suspect from this morning.
They have removed a hold and secure of Port Colborne schools, as they search for Brady Neff.
They have now contained an area on the opposite side of the Welland Canal from earlier, north of Clarence Street, in the King Street area.

Update: early Wednesday afternoon
Police say they are looking for a man wanted for possession of a firearm, and he is considered armed and dangerous.
They advise that if anyone sees 27-year old Brady Neff, to call 911 immediately, and do not approach him.
Police have confirmed that this is not an active shooting investigation, and ask people to stay indoors.

There's a heavy police presence in a Port Colborne neighbourhood this morning.
They got a call about a possible weapons incident, east of the Welland Canal and south of Durham Street.
Police have two houses under watch, one on Fares Street, north of Louis Street, and the other on Mitchell between Nickel Street and Decew.
Police are asking everyone in the area to stay indoors, keep doors locked, until the suspect has been caught.
Out of an abundance of caution, police have asked schools to go into a "Hold and Secure", which includes Dewitt Carter Public, Lakeshore Catholic High, Ecole St. Joseph, and St. Therese Catholic Elementary School.
