Police stopped about 450 vehicles in Niagara during Superbowl celebrations.
Officers were checking for drivers impaired by alcohol or drugs in St. Catharines and Thorold.
They say eight drivers were asked to give breath samples.
One driver was given a three-day license suspension for having any alcohol without a full G license.
Police issued six tickets for various traffic-related offences.
