The NRP stopped about 600 vehicles during a recent R.I.D.E. programs in St. Catharines and Port Colborne.
Officers issued 17 breathalyzer tests on Wednesday but only one driver failed and was arrested for impaired driving.
Another driver had their license suspended for a week after they registered in the Alert zone.
The NRP also charged a third driver for having cannabis readily available.
