It’s another step to get people in Niagara and across the province to just stay home.
The province is shutting down all outdoor recreational amenities immediately.
The order shuts down things like dog parks, sports fields and courts, playground equipment, beaches, community gardens and park shelters.
The emergency order was based on medical advice and will be in place until April 13th.
Premier Doug Ford has extended the State of Emergency in Ontario that was set to expire today for at least another two weeks.
