Another teachers union will be in legal strike position.
The Ontario English Catholic Teachers Association will be able to strike as of December 21st, but it has no plans to do so at this time.
A no-board report has been issued. OECTA President Liz Stuart says this should be a wake-up call for Premier Doug Ford and Education Minister Stephen Lecce.
The union does have two-days of bargaining scheduled for this week, and another two for next week.
The OECTA represents English Catholic teachers across Niagara and the rest of the province.
