Ontario's Liberal Leader Calls On Province to Require Three Doses for Vaccine Passports

Steven Del Duca says Ontario government needs to change the definition of fully vaccinated to three doses, as well as make vaccine certificates mandatory to LCBOs, cannabis shops and non-essential retail.

Ontario's Liberal Leader is once again urging the province to change the definition of fully immunized to three doses.

Steven Del Duca tweeting out that changing the definition of fully vaccinated will help ensure a proper re-opening.

He is also calling on the Ford government to mandate proof of vaccination for cannabis stores, LCBO locations and non-essential retail.

“With lives and livelihoods at stake, we cannot afford Doug Ford bungling another reopening,” stated Del Duca. “He needs to strengthen the vaccine certificate now to make sure this reopening is permanent, so that we can all get back to doing the things we love sooner, and so that businesses are not shut down again.”

This comes after NDP Leader Andrea Horwath called on the provincial government last week to request proof of vaccination requirements  for cannabis and LCBO stores.
