Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada is investing $11.6-million to help stop the spread of COVID-19 on farms.
The Ford Government is going to distribute the funding, which will allow farmers to install physical barriers and upgrade their HVAC systems in order to protect workers.
MPP Sam Oosterhoff says this will help ensure health and safety on farms in Niagara and beyond.
This funding is in addition to the $15-million the Ford Government announced back in June.
That money was set aside for workplace safety enhancements through the Enhanced Agri-food Workplace Protection Program.
