You can't have a campfire in Pelham.
Fire Chief Bob Lymburner has issued an open-air burn ban due to the hot, dry weather we've had lately and the lack of rain.
This will also apply to agriculture burns, brush pile burns and outdoor fireplaces and chimineas.
Cooking fires will be allowed on select campgrounds but all fires have to be extinguished after midnight.
