The city is looking for public engagement on the Official Plan, designed to guide city for 30 years
If you live in Port Colborne, and want a say in future plans for the city, that chance is coming next month.
The city's new Official Plan is a document outlining long-term vision for land use, community growth, infrastructure planning, and environmental planning.
This particular one will guide the city's intiatives through to 2056.
The city says public engagment is central to developing what happens in Port Colborne.
There are two open houses at the Vale Health and Wellness Centre, February 4th and 5th, with more scheduled through the summer.
The new Official plan will also account for recent provincial policy changes that have increased decision making at the municipal level.
